Fieldband Foundation at World Cup 2010 closing ceremony

The FBF has the honour of playing a part in the 2010 FIFA World Cup celebrations. The FBF has performed in the 100 and 50 day countdown celebrations and in the prestigious opening event. To conclude, they will also perform at the world cup closing ceremony on sunday 11 july 2010! The format of which is shrouded in secrecy. This association between the 2010 FIFA World Cup will undoubtedly boost the confidence of the young men and women, becoming an experience and memory never to be forgotten.

The 2010 Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo

2010 marks the Diamond Jubilee Year of Edinburgh's celebrated Royal Military Tattoo which will take place over the period 6-28 August with performances on Monday to Friday at 9.00pm and on Saturday at 7.30pm and 10.30pm. Against the backdrop of Edinburgh Castle, the world's most spectacular Tattoo will host a celebration of talent from four continents including pipers, gymnasts, singers, dancers and an amazing motorcycle display team. The emphasis is again very much on music with the event expected to delight an international crowd with its rich variety.

Scores and photos contest Huizen (NL)

18 corps attended at the Drum Corps Netherlands contest in Huizen last Saturday. Corps and bands from the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium made their performances in the Percussion Class, A-Class and Premier Class. Jong Jubal became the highest score at the Junior Class, DINDUA at the Percussion Class DINDUA, Heartliner at the A Class and for the Premier Class Jubal became the number 1. All scores are mentioned below. False emails from Spielmannszug Gescher

People might receive mails with the German Spielmannszug Gescher as sender. Within these mails users are given an option to buy several products. However, these mails are not (!) sent by or sent on request of the Spielmannszug Gescher. In a short statement at their website, the band takes distances from these mails. You are adviced to sent the mails to your trash folder and do not react on it.

 
Kidsgrove Scouts: The Heist begins

On Sunday 20 June the Kidsgrove Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps gave its 2010 production, Heist of The Century, its first public viewing at the Barnsley BYBA show.The expectant crowd were not disappointed as the corps, marching 85 members, took to the field resplendent in their red, white & black uniform.The opening hit nearly raised the roof of the small stadium but there was plenty more to come and the crowd were on their feet by the end of the show.
